Understand the treatment. Develop your judgement.
Explore the assessment, preparation and safety principles behind four clinical skill areas, alongside consent, documentation and aftercare.
IV therapy
IV cannulation and infusion principles, preparation, monitoring and recognising when to escalate concerns.
IM vitamin injections
Vitamin selection principles, suitability, contraindications and IM injection techniques within an approved clinical framework.
PRP
PRP preparation, centrifugation and treatment principles, linked to the selected system and approved protocol.
Patient assessment, treatment suitability and contraindications; infection prevention; recognising complications and responding appropriately; consultation, consent, documentation and aftercare.
